Veronica Manning

Veronica is a commercial and property law specialist with a practical, results-driven and client-centred approach.  She also assists with the formation and governance of incorporated societies and charitable organisations, offering clear legal guidance tailored to her client's needs.  Veronica joined Brown Partners in June 2025 after gaining experience across boutique, general practice, and national firms in Auckland and Queenstown.
Veronica advises clients on a wide range of matters, including complex subdivisions, the sale and purchase of businesses, commercial contracts, residential and commercial conveyancing, and business structuring.
Veronica is based in Queenstown but straddles the firm's practice in Queenstown and Auckland.
Outside of the office, Veronica is deeply involved in the powerlifting community. She is Vice President of the Oceania Regional Powerlifting Association, New Zealand Powerlifting Federation, and Otago Amateur Weightlifting Association, serves as Honorary Solicitor for the New Zealand Powerlifting Federation, and is the Safeguarding Officer for and sits on the Law and Legislation Commission of the International Powerlifting Federation. An athlete herself, she has held national records and represented New Zealand on the world stage.
Veronica is also a member of the Queenstown Young Professionals committee, an organisation dedicated to the development and success of young professionals in Queenstown.
Veronica was recognised by Australasian Lawyer and NZ Lawyer as a Future Legal Leader in 2025.
