Our FIRM

Brown Partners was founded in 2008 by John Brown and Gerard Brown to serve New Zealand, Australian and multinational businesses.

Gerard had worked for leading London law firm Slaughter and May, then spent 14 years as a corporate partner at Minter Ellison Rudd Watts and Russell McVeagh.

John’s several years at leading London firm Freshfields were followed by 15 years as a partner at Brookfields and Brown & Sargent.
